February has arrived!‏ February 1, 2016 Week Thirty-one

Hey y'all!

The time has finally come that I've been warned about since I came out on my mission- February.  Allegedly, February in Texas is incredibly harsh, with snow storms that leave a full four inches of snow and temperatures plummeting all the way down to twenty degrees Fahrenheit. The first day of February, the temperature was seventy two degrees Fahrenheit.  Yeah.  REAL scared of that Texas winter.

In other news, this week was actually really great!  We were able to get out and teach TONS of less-active people. It's so great to see the changes that these people are making in their lives and to help them remember the covenants they made. There are so many good people in this ward that are legitimately trying to improve their situations and become better people. We got a new Ward Mission Leader this week, but we actually haven't met with him yet.  We've called him several times, sent him several texts, and tried many other things, but so far, nothing.  Oh, well.  We are teaching many people, and that's what's important, not frequent contact with the Ward Mission Leader, as important as that is.

Hope y'all have a great week!

Elder Jensen
