This week was admittedly a slower one, but it was still a great one. We received two referrals this week, which was super awesome! In my last area, we usually get two or three every day, but in this ward they're pretty few and far between. One of them we had to drop because it had no address and the phone number was incorrect, but the other one turned out to be really promising! We saw this woman getting in her car this week, and we quickly tried to speak with her. She said she didn't have time to talk with us, but she gave us her husband's phone number and told us to call him and set up an appointment. Seriously, she told us to set up an appointment with him. When we actually called him, he was pretty enthusiastic about meeting with us. We were afraid that she was just giving us a made up number to get us to go away, but not only was the number real, he schedule an appointment for us. We're meeting with him tonight, and we're really hoping that it will work out well.
