Mineral Wells Week 6 April 17, 2017 Week Ninety-three

Hey y'all!

This week has been AMAZING! We saw SO much success that it's easily one of the best weeks I've had on my mission. Now, this isn't too say that there wasn't a few days that were rough. On Friday and Saturday, we saw NO success whatsoever. However, the other days that week were more than enough to compensate for those EXTREMELY slow days. Last week we were able to find seven new investigators; we went down slightly this week to only five new investigators, but the five that we did find were pretty solid ones. Last week, we had only four nonmembers at church; this week we had nine! Best of all, we had only one person with a Baptism date last week, but this week we upped it by adding another. Yolanda, the wife of one of the members we're working with, is now on track to be baptized, and we couldn't be happier. In the moment, asking her to be baptized was kind of terrifying because she doesn't speak English, and while we normally have a member come and translate for us we wanted to extend this important invitation ourselves. We probably got the grammar wrong or conjugated one of the verbs incorrectly, but then after some discussion with her husband she replied in Spanish that the specified date would be perfect. It was a great week to be a missionary, one that was capped off by an absolutely perfect Easter Sunday.

Hope y'all have a great week!
