Hey y'all!
By far the highlight of this week was general conference, an opportunity to listen to the new, inspired revelation. The experience to be taught by prophets, seers, revelators, and the Holy Spirit is priceless. I'm finding it hard to choose a favorite talk, between President Uchtdorf's talk about overcoming fear with love, Elder Hales' talk about discipleship, President Monson's talk about charity, and Elder Bednar's talk about the call to serve as a missionary. Conference is so special that I'm really sad that people don't do everything in their power to obtain this invaluable gift. Case in point- we invited as many people to it as we could, we set up the church ourselves for the broadcast since our Branch wouldn't be broadcasting it, we gave reminders both in person and over the phone, but only two-people tuned in. As sad as it was that people didn't take
advantage of this spiritual experience, we were glad at the end of the day, because it was the Mejia family that tuned in to watch it. They said that they felt so inspired by what was said, and we really feel like many of the talks given were delivered just to them. We didn't get a chance to meet with them this last week because they were off on Oklahoma, but we feel like conference more than made up for it.
Hope y'all have a great week!
Love, Elder Jensen.
