What a week! I'm back in the Lewisville Stake, and I love it here! The members are super great, and all of the people here are so nice. I remember a door that we knocked on this week because one our old investigators lived there, but when the person came to the door (sopping wet because he came straight from the pool) we learned that our potential investigator had in fact moved a few months ago. Even though the guy was interrupted from his day off and had tracked water through his house to answer the door, he was still super nice and helpful. He offered us some nice cold water before we left and sent us out with a friendly wave. You get rejected A TON by people here, but they're just so nice about it!
My new companion Elder Parsons and I are doing pretty well together. He's a great guy who loves to serve God. He's kind of quiet, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. We're doing our best to go out and find, and he' s acted as a pretty good guide so far.
