Hey y'all!
This week was so amazing! By far, the highlight of our week was Thursday evening when we went on our weekly exchange with the high priests. We had an appointment at 6, and so we had our exchange pick us up at 5:45 from our dinner. Unfortunately, our appointment cancelled right before we got there, so we had to scramble to find somebody to visit. For forty-five minutes we stopped by people, but nobody answered the door. I was praying that we could find somebody to teach so that we wouldn't waste our exchange's time, and then I had a prompting that we needed to go visit a certain former investigator. Neither Elder Parsons nor I had ever met her, but we decided to go anyways. Turns out, we got there just in time, as when we knocked on the door she immediately opened up and informed us that she was having an anxiety attack coupled with a pseudo aneurysm that had been lasting all day. We helped her call an ambulance and we prayed with her until the ambulances arrived. Afterwards, out of the small crowd that formed to see what was going on, we were able to speak to several of them who turned out to be former investigators that wanted to meet with us again. If that didn't make the night good enough, we had a prompting to go visit a less-active family we had stopped by earlier, and when we did so, they were home and we are able to teach them. Our exchange was actually great friends with them, and he was able to get them to open up about why they aren't coming to church anymore. It was a very spiritual experience (as well as the longest exchange I've ever been on with a member- three hours long!).
Hope y'all have a great week!
Elder Jensen
