On Tuesday, we celebrated the best holiday in the world- Texas Independence Day! There was a giant parade, and people cheering and screaming, and fireworks everywhere..................okay, maybe that was a bit of a stretch. I actually only heard somebody mention it in passing, so I guess it wasn't too exciting...
This week was another fantastic one, but I guess that's the usual here in Graham! Once again, we were able to hit out standard of excellence of twenty goals, and it doesn't look like that's going to stop being the case any time soon!
This week we had a great experience with this guy named Andrew. He had been contacted by missionaries in the past, but hadn't been taught anything by them. We went over to talk to him on Tuesday, and he let us right in and invited us to teach him! We taught him four times in the last week, and he said that nothing was going to get between him and going to church on Sunday. The best part was, is that he kept his promise! He stayed for all three hours of church, and he's already committed to be baptized! He loves reading the Book of Mormon, and he frequently prays to know if it is true. God truly does have His hand in this work, otherwise there is no way that somebody would be able to gain a testimony so strong, so quickly.
Hope y'all have a great week!
